IRFAN HUSSAIN

Born and brought up amidst the pristine surrounding of Ladakh, Irfan has always been an explorer and seeker at heart. His quest to create value in my life inspires him to connect, collaborate, and partner with like-minded individuals and organizations who care for the local communities as well as for the environment. Irfan is the Founder of Sacred Himalayas and an integral member for running the homestay initiative in Ladakh

TSEWANG DORJEY

Tsewang Dorjey is a village coordinator who works for the maintenance of the solar micro-grids installed during the project, conducts Astronomy sessions and village walks along with other youth of the village. After completing his graduation, he made a choice to come back to his village and work for the development of his village and the community.

Anubhav Jain

Anubhav comes with an experience of working with a community of over 1000 hosts handling close to 3000 homestays. He is experienced in training the hosts on the best practices for hospitality and making the homestays sellable. With such a strong experience, Anubhav believes that there is a huge improvement that can be done in the field of shared economy.

Simar Preet Kaur

Simar is a Tourism Professional, graduated from Delhi University has an experience of working with local communities and homestays in Himachal. Along with hospitality she tends to bring significant changes and a social balance where humans and nature exist in harmony. She is also a performing Artist and has done several acts on sensitized topics to raise awareness in the local communities along with performing mixed martial arts.

PARAS LOOMBA

Paras Loomba is the Founder of the Global Himalayan Expedition. After a successful International Antarctica Expedition in 2012, led by Robert Swan, Paras quit his corporate job to work in the field of sustainable rural development. Passionate about cutting edge technologies, Paras is actively involved in providing solar based electrification to rural India.

Vishaljeet Singh

Vishaljeet Singh is a Mechanical Engineer by background but used his time in college to exhibit his innate interest in photography and videography. He has spent time volunteering with Make a Difference NGO. At Mountain Homestays, Vishal is looking into content creation and managing operations on the ground. Vishal has also won several awards for his film making skills.

Jaideep Bansal

Jaideep Bansal is an IIT Bombay Graduate and has been involved in leading several impact tourism expeditions to remote areas in Himalayas with GHE. Jaideep plays a key role in developing new partnerships to further the work of Impact Tourism and has been instrumental in bringing the narrative of Impact Tourism to the wider arena as a speaker on various platforms.
