We believe travel should give back more than it takes. Mountain Homestays was born from a simple idea, that journeys through the Himalayas can nurture the environment, celebrate cultures, and create shared value between travellers and hosts.
In every destination we work in, our goal is not mass tourism but meaningful travel that sustains both nature and people.

The mountains have always taught us balance between fragility and strength, solitude and community, preservation and progress.
Our work begins by helping local families open their homes to travellers responsibly. Through solar energy, waste management and traditional architecture, we ensure that every homestay treads lightly on its surroundings.

When travellers stay in these homes, they experience a life of simplicity, self-reliance and take those lessons of balance back with them.

We work closely with local hosts, artisans and youth enabling them to share their traditions, stories, and landscapes on their own terms.
