A Buddist Pilgrimage

The high altitude cold desert of Ladakh has remained mystical and unknown to outside world. One such account is of Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo (957 – 1055 AD) who initiated 108 temples during the 11th century inviting artisans from Kashmir who brought with them their unique style of art and painting. The most celebrated of these monasteries are the legendary Alchi, Mangyu and Sumda-Chun monasteries. We take this pilgrimage tour and experience the local life of two beautiful Ladakhi villages.
